The center propagates ideas and thoughts of academic journalism by delving into national and social issues. It presents insights and perspectives without sensationalizing the matter and arguments. With a critical and analytical approach the center toils to create articles, journals, research papers, etc. to provide value addition.
A modern state confronts multiple and simultaneous challenges across various domains. National security cannot be confined to the use of the state’s coercive power to overcome domestic and external threats. For example, threats to domestic peace and stability may arise from economic and social grievances hence the approach needs to be interdisciplinary. AFPR’s goal is to play an intellectual role in the national security thinking and decision making process in India and to be an idea factory that engenders serious debate about the desirable course of action for challenges that we face as a nation. Our idea is to create a platform of dialogue where various issues relating to international order could be discussed and analyzed freely and candidly.

“He who sees everywhere the Self in all existence and all existence in the Self, shrinks not thereafter from aught.”
We at AFPR advocate power sharing, negotiated dialogue, problem solving approaches and critical reflexivity to achieve inclusivity in the democratic space. Under this center AFPR intends to work on core issues which have kept the society backward like sanitation, education, health & hygiene among others. The aim is to work on upliftment of the society and address its backwardness. The areas of work include sanitation, education, health & hygiene.
The center works to bridge the gap in the education system, health system, etc. through research. We also initiate measures to change the traditional schooling system which has become redundant. In the field of health & hygiene, we promote awareness programs of various governments. schemes and initiatives.

AFPR intends to play a constructive role in providing access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels. We aim to undertake campaigns to ensure public access to information and protect fundamental freedoms, in accordance with national legislations and interests. The center works to ensure penetration of the ideas of good governance. In order to counter red tapeism, illegal profiteering, corruption, and to ensure transparency, accountability amongst government agencies; there is a need to focus on critical analysis of existing government policies. Therefore, the center is producing quantitative and qualitative research on the themes of law and governance. It is also focused on creating literary works on parliamentary and constitutional setup of the nation.
In the field of Justice & Legal Studies ,the center works to set new landmarks by achieving different milestones through intensive legal research. The work includes litigation, drafting bills for members of legislatures, filing petitions and organizing campaigns for legal accessibility . We are committed to producing legal research of the highest standard by ensuring informed public debates, references to legal provisions and inclination to justice.

The center is focused on analyzing the three pillars of economic development, i.e. structural reforms, investment, and fiscal responsibility by conducting extensive research to understand and suggest measures to achieve a stable economic growth rate.
By conducting various seminars and workshops, we work to educate the youth on their contribution to the economic growth of the nation. We also create surveys and reports on the government’s economic interventions as well as regulatory measures.
Environmental issues are crucial in contemporary times, therefore, the center works and tries to address the environmental concerns from a legal and policy perspective. AFPR wishes to nudge individuals to practice simple yet effective environment friendly actions, influence government and industrial policy to support both sustainable consumption and production (policy) and to suggest as well as provide industries and markets necessary eco-friendly solutions and responses.
Traditional indic view towards nature and environment is that we humans and our societies are embedded in nature and human life is an extension of its environment, and hence we have a strong ethical direction aimed at keeping this relational continuity in balance. Striving towards fulfillment of this aim we wish to work on factors causing climate change and create awareness about it amongst the masses. At present, we are working on concrete plans to minimize pollution and use of non-degradable pollutants.
